DynaVap DynaTec Apollo 2 Induction Heater
The DynaVap Apollo 2 is a wallpowered Induction Heater designed and engineered by DynaTec, specifically for use with the DynaVap VapCap. Enjoy smooth, fast, and consistent vapor in 5-8 seconds with either stainless steel or titanium tips.
An Automatic Shutoff feature limits heating to a maximum of 15 seconds at a time. This unit features a durable, full-color printed cover with an authentic DynaVap magnet on the top.
Included with each Apollo 2 Induction Heater is an instruction guide and a UL Listed 100-220v Switching Power Supply with a Canada / USA three prong grounded plug that works outside the USA / Canada with an adapter or replacement IEC – C13 cable with local prongs.
The DynaTec Apollo 2 is Designed and Assembled in USA and comes with a 1-year manufactures warranty. Power Supply Certifications: CE UL ROHS Listed.
Differences Between Orion V2 vs Apollo 2:
- Orion V2 requires a 3 second safety calibration after turning the Orion on. During this 3 second safety calibration, a VapCap should not be inserted. The calibration will not complete until the Orion has been turned on with an empty chamber for 3 seconds.
- Orion V2 is battery powered and rechargeable. The Apollo 2 requires a wall outlet and has no batteries.
- Clicks per charge are about 40 on the Orion V2 and unlimited on the Apollo 2.
- Orion V2 has an updated enclosure to help prevent cracking or chipping. Apollo 2 has no issues with the enclosure.
- Orion V2 has improved button construction to prevent damage, Apollo 2 has no buttons to break.
- Upgraded battery circuit to improve reliability and protection, Apollo 2 has no battery.
- Thermal protection has been added to prevent damage caused from abusive use and overheating. If the Orion gets too hot, it will shut down and require a cool down period and can then be turned back on. If thermal protection is activated, please wait for the device to cool down, then plug it into the charger to restart.
- Heating profile has been tuned to be slightly less aggressive on Orion V2. This allows for better heating with Ti tips by reducing the likelihood of combustion. It still works great on SS tips.
Visual Differences DynaTec Orion V2 vs DynaTec Apollo 2:
- Orion V2 will have the text “DYNATEC.io” smaller and located in the lower right 2/3s of the side of the heater. The Orion V2 is portable. Apollo 2 is larger and needs to be plugged in.

- Dynatec has created something special here. There is no need to press down on the vaporizer while heating. The Intelligent Activation technology will automatically heat the vape when it is inserted. You just plop it into the heater and let it do all of the work.
- Turn on the Apollo 2 by pressing in the button on the back.
- Insert the VapCap and gently press the DynaVap into the chamber until you feel the tactile switch activate and then hold that position.
- You will know the VapCap is heated when it clicks.
- When you hear the click, it’s time to remove the VapCap from the Apollo 2 and enjoy your vape! As soon as you are done using it, place it on the magnet and wait for the cool down click. It’s then ready to be reheated.
- There is an automatic shut off timer at 15 seconds, but you might still combust if you heat the VapCap too far past the click.
- Each VapCap is slightly different. As they age, the timing with the click will change. We recommend stopping at the click, but for a denser vapor just go 1-2 seconds past the click on most VapCaps. If you go too far after the click, you will combust.
- Always make sure to let the DynaVap click again before reheating. Waiting for the cool down clicks ensures you won’t immediately combust and / or damage the clicker.
- We recommend cleaning out your VapCap in between sessions. This reduces staining of the oven, and will make deep cleanings easier.
- The first heat cycle is typically light and full of flavor. Quick back-to-back heat cycles and short pulses of heating will increase vapor production.
